Description
The PR is the second foundational registry of the NL electronic health record (EHR). Information held in the PR is provided to NLCHI by the regulatory authorities for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, optometrists and dentists and includes the name, address, telephone number, license number and status of these health professionals. The PR integrates with components of the provincial EHR to ensure accurate identification of health professionals involved in the care and treatment of individuals. The PR is currently used by the Pharmacy Network and may expand to include other regulated health professionals in the future.
